Eligibility and
Exemptions from Practical Examination:
1.1All the candidates
clearing a particular qualification viz. 'O', 'A' or 'B' under
the revised syllabi (Revision 3) shall have to quality the
Practical Examinations in addition to qualifying the Theory
Examinations as well as the mandatory projects. The number of
Practical Examinations and subjects covered for each Practical
Examination are indicated in the table given below:

The
subjects indicated in the table will cover all the options available
under each subject code and the candidates will have to appear for
the practical examination in the elective subject he opts for Theory
Examination. For example, M4 will cover both the electives -
Programming & Problem Solving Through C Language and Programming
through Visual Basic and the candidates who have opted for appearing
in C Language in the Theory Paper shall be permitted to appear for
Practical Examination in C Language only and not in Visual Basic.
1.2For being considered for appearing in the
Practical Examination the candidate must complete the studies for
relevant modules / papers covering the practical examination and
should have applies for appearing in the examination for the same.
To qualify for appearing in PR I of 'A' Level the candidate must
have applied for appearing in the examinations in all the 4 modules
covering the first practical (i.e. A1-R3,
A2-R3, A3-R3, A4-R3) also for
appearing in practical examination. Similarly for appearing in PR-IV
of 'B' level the candidate must have applied for appearing in
Examination in papers (B4.3-R3, B4.4-R3
AND B4.5-R3)
and also the Practical Examination.
1.3Candidates applying for
the examination who have switched over from Old Syllabus to New
Syllabus, i.e. 3rd Revision shall have the exemptions as under:
